Our next project awarded the SONATA BIS 12 grant is “Coordination of the spliceosome expression-to-function during embryonic development” by Dr. Maciej Cieśla (Laboratory of Stem Cell RNA Metabolism).
As Maciej describes it: – During development, embryonic stem cells, capable of formation of entire organism are formed. With this project, we will understand how differentiation of stem cells is regulated by pre-mRNA splicing. We hope that this will allow for knowledge-instructed approaches correcting embryonic stem cell dysfunctions.
